Far from fear and closer to the voice of God!

Proverbs 1:33 "But whoever listens to me will be safe and secure, and will not be afraid of evil."

I lived without really having a goal, I lived by telling myself, I will do like everyone else. I had several fears: the fear of failure, the fear of illness. I did not yet listen to the voice of the Eternal, so I let myself be guided by the instructions of the Men of God.

Over time, I began to become unwell; I suffered from so many illnesses, each as improbable as the last. I experienced several failures in my school and love life.

I began to pray for God to guide me. I no longer wanted to be guided by a spiritual guide, but by God Himself. The first word that came to me was Job 3:25, "For what I fear is what has come upon me; and what I dread is what has come upon me."

I did some introspection and realized that everything I feared was happening to me. I had to stop being afraid, and the first step was to read the Word of God, to know God, to understand what faith in God is, and how God could save me and give me a new life. One of the words in the Bible that made me meditate for weeks is in Genesis 1:27: "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them."

We are in the image of God, He who created the heavens, the earth and all that lives therein. When we say all that lives there, we mean everything that is visible and invisible. God is all-powerful, He created the world with His word alone. While reading Genesis, I began to question the spiritual capacities that God has placed in us, because if He created us in His image and with His word He made the earth, what power does our word have? Our word alone can unlock difficult situations in our lives or in the lives of others.

As I continued to search and read, I came across this word from 2 Timothy 1:7 "For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, of love and of a sound mind." Jesus Christ died on the cross so that we humans could receive the Spirit of God, by which Jesus Christ performed miracles, the Spirit of God who awakened Jesus Christ from the dead. What a great Spirit is in us! A Spirit that dominates all power on earth and subdues all evil, in the light of the holy God.

I loved the presence of God, which brought me peace of heart, which brought me confidence and joy. I meditated more, sang praises and sought God. And I understood during this walk that: whatever happens to us, illness, mystical attacks or trials, when God is with us, He will always give us victory. We will always be delivered from the hand of the enemy, because there is no one more powerful than the one who walks beside us: God!

God will always give us instructions so that we do not tremble before our adversaries or their evil plans reach us. And when the storm hits, the Lord will always calm it.

I advise you to pray more, to read the Bible every day, to meditate on it constantly. Seek the face of God and his instructions, because God speaks to everyone who is willing to listen to his voice.

Be blessed in the name of our savior Jesus Christ

Amen!
